How did it get the name S2000?

S means that the car can take the S curve no problem at all. hahahah
2000 means it can do the S curve turn in 2000 times. hahaha

Bit of trivia: the displacement isn't even 2000cc, it's really 1997cc.

2000 is close enough, though, and S2000 is much sexier sounding than S1997.

(Sorry, Jim (the guy who's screen name is S1997) )
