Financed $18k purchase in Dec '09 for an '05 with 30k. I would have paid cash, but Honda finance was offering ~2.5% for 3 year finance on CPO at the time. That was a cheap way to hang on to cash to pay off a much higher interest rate 2nd mortgage instead.

The dealer really wanted that car off the lot, nobody was buying convertibles in December. It was marked down $5k from the original asking price. I couldn't resist that deal
