How do i change my carpet?
Ive being trying to find out if anyone know where I can find all the step in changing the carpet of my S.The two passenger sides seem pretty simple but the center consul is what worries and confuses me .I dont want to start taking screw my dash for the hell it so if anyone has any info that would be great.

replacing carpet can B involved 4 the centR console. The 2 sides require the seats 2B removed, some carpet clips on the centR console 2B pulled, some plastic things Bhind the seats 2B taken off, etc. Now 4 the centR piece...
after removing the obvious stuff, U have 2 take out the radio (carefully), and U will find that the carpet goes way the he[[ back there. I found I had to chop it up b/c it has 2 or 4 holes that have some wire things that run through it which I couldn't unlatch. Plus the sensor 4 the airbags is bolted over the carpet. Now wiggle the carpet free. When putting the new carpet in, I had 2 slice the holes, and possibly chop the carpet in2 a couple of pieces so it could go around the wire things and around the sensor (I chose not 2 mess w/the sensor). BTW, this mayB incomplete, I did this last summer...
