I read somewhere that late 03's have the delay. How can I know for sure?

 

never heard about that.

if your clutch has a tendency to slip at high rpm shifts, you may have it.

 

billman250 stated that the late 03's have it. I pm'd him, waiting for a response. I asked here to see if anyone else could shed some light on it till he replys.

 

easiest way is to take a look at the slave and see what it looks like. check out the delay removal and you can see the differences.

 

NO 2003 model/NO AP1 has the clutch delay. I have a friend with a very late model 03 (november i think? october maybe) and it does not have the delay valve.

SlowS2k has also stated this as well before. I've never heard billman claim such a thing....

 

I don't believe any AP1 had the CDV. He probably meant late '03 production date AP2.

 

I have a late production '03, and I don't have the delay valve. To my knowledge, that feature (?) wasn't added until '04.
