How do I make vtec hit harder?

why would he need a tune to get it to 6k rpm when it comes from the factory that way?

I thought VTEC engaged around 7K for AP1's?

Thanks for all the replies, including the funny ones as well as the serious ones.

I guess theres no easy way of mimicking(sp?) ITR feeling.. so I'll just have to sell the S, get an ITR, hit vtec like 8 or 9 times, then find out it got stolen over night even though I parked in my garage and only slept for 3 hours.

The only way to "mimic" the feeling is to make the stock tune even worse then it is. In a best case scenario, you shouldn't even know that vtec engaged.
