Default How do you decelerate?

Just curious as to how everybody decelerates theyre car in day to day driving since I usually put it in neutral and brake. I know it puts more wear on the brake pads but im trying to get into the habit of rev matching. Be honest

I always rev match down to third and sometimes heel and toe to second if need be. Try doing that everytime you stop and you're car will train your body to use the transmission properly without you even knowing it.

Downshifting and rev-matching.... Why? Cause it sounds awesome.

honestly, it depends on how i'm driving. if i'm just cruising its into neutral and brake, and if i'm really gettin on her on twisties with stop signs its downshifting with rev matching.

rev-matching is what you SHOULD be doing. what you're doing when you rev match is you're matching the transmissin speed to the engine speed. the tranny has synchros so that you don't have to rev-match, but when you do it's easier on the tranny.
