Default How do you install CF hood?

Just curious. I am thinking of getting a CF hood. How do you install it? Do you have to replace the whole hood or does it come like a 'snap' on? Any pics or styles would you recommend? Thanks

Make sure you have someone help you. Or at least something or someone to hold the hood for you.

Yeah it's real helpful to have someone there to help you hold the hood while you bolt it to the hinges.

It is possible to do it yourself though. I've put normal hoods on a couple cars so if I can do it, anyone can. And carbon fibre is lighter.

first disconnect the hose from the washer nozzles. two people will make it 1000000000 times easier. there are 2 bolts on each side. take them out and just swop the hoods. very very simple.

There is a thread in Under The Hood that discusses the install. You should check there.
