Started with folder... then grossly exceeded the capability of the poor folder. Now have a drawer.

I keep a text file on my Treo for the other details. I keep an online Honda OwnerLink file for maintenance history.

I just keep all my parts/maintenance receipts in a file folder marked "S2K"

When I started modding I also took pics of the installs and a pic of the mileage of the date of install.

i keep track of everything in the provided section in the owners manual.
the oil brand used and mileage as well as who changed it usually done at the same place though since my buddy hooks it up with a price good enough to not change it myself.
i also keep track of the mileage when i change tires in there too and anything else such as the timing chain tensioner.
as far as the receipts i keep them in the plastic bag with the owners manual in the truck with the jack.

I'm following this thread hoping someone will show me some amazing website where I can enter in miles at time of service, cost of parts, cost of labor, picture upload, and receipt upload.

Google Docs spreadsheet... that way I can add to the log virtually anywhere and anytime through my iPhone.

Invoices from parts, receipts, etc. all go into a folder...

Excel for gas mileage, maintenance prices, maintained items @ spec'd mileage, etc.

I should keep reciepts but I dont. Maybe I will for big things like tires, clutches, etc. So far havent gotten there..only oil/trans/diff changes and stuff.

Gas recipts I keep and write the mielage on so I cna transfer it to my excel doc.

Like you, an Excel workbook. One worksheet for each car's service record, one worksheet with part numbers and another worksheet for keeping inventory of my spare parts/consumables.

I don't track costs, though.

I keep track of my service with this website. It even knows my car by the VIN:
