Doesn't anyone actually use those blank pages in the manual?
There aren't enough IMO if you own the car for any length of time.

Besides, Excel workbooks have multiple tabs so I can track MPG on one sheet and maintenance/repairs/etc on another. The manual doesn't and it's terrible at creating graphs or sorting data.

I use Fuelly.com for keeping track of my gas mileage, a folder for receipts and the owners manual for the mileage intervals at which maintenance is done.

I keep everything in an S2k folder, however, since i've purchased, serviced, and maintained my S at one place, for ALL things, they have a pretty thorough database as well.

I don't keep anything at all lol. Just do oil change every 6 months. I know I don't drive a lot so. I don't get any receipt either since I don't go to stealership for any maintenance, but instead a trusted friend's shop of mine.

A dry erase board in the garage. I can track the oil changes of all the cars and other things like last wax, leather care, transmission/ diff oil change, cabin filter, brake fluid, monthly miles per car.

I have a custom webapp that I keep modifying with all my info. It runs on a backplane of the Zurich Skynet global research facility and uses 10% of the hardon particle accelerator to crunch the data.

The total mod $ is omitted because it could probably fund a small third world country.
