How do you park your S
The only reason to not use the parking brake is that you just finished some track driving and the rotors are way hot.
In gear with parking brake on, that's why it's called a "parking brake."
I've had the experience (with another car) of someone parking my car and leaving the car in gear, without the parking brake. Only they didn't have it properly in gear, it popped out, rolled down the street, over the curb, across someone's front yard and tapped a neighbors car. Plus using the parking brake sets the rear brake pad clearances properly.

Last month I was sitting in a sandwich shop and looked out the window to gaze at my beloved S just in time to watch her slowly roll out of her parking space and into lot traffic. Luckily she stopped before hitting anything or getting whacked by a passing car. Always leave your car in gear. Once the brake pads cool they contract, reducing pressure on the discs, sometimes enough to let your car roll.
If my S is sitting for long periods in my driveway (like this winter), I've learned (the hard way) to leave the P brake off. I once had the rear pads weld themelves to the diisc. The car wouldn't budge!
