How do you remove the wind deflector off of an 01 or 02?
How do you remove the wind deflector off of an 01 or 02? I see two round things on the under side of the door but theyr not screws. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

use a pliers and pull off the plastic screw covers located on the side of the deflector facing away from the cockpit...underneath are two phillips screw heads...remove them...bada bing, bada boom...you are done...

The things you see under the compartment lid are acorn nuts. I find it necessary to hold them while you unscrew the phillips screws from the top. You will need a socket wrench to secure the nuts. If I remember correctly, the nuts are 8mm. Be careful not to drop the small washers underneath the nuts, they have the bad habit of disappearing.
