If you use static cling tint it will scratch your lenses over time. Dirt gets under and ruins the lights more and more. You can also go to a professional painter who uses black paint with a lot of thinner to permanantly paint/tint them darker. You can try the stick on tint to see if you like the look and do it for real later on.
