How does everyone get scratched rear windows?
I have 23k miles on my car (BECAUSE NO ONE WILL BUY THE ****ING THING
), and have just the smallest complaints about the plastic back window. I have seen lots of people are on their second windows and ready to get those replaced.?
I use some Mothers Carnuba wax (right or wrong) with cleaner on my rear window, and it seems pretty decent to me.? Maybe i am not as picky.?
Just curious.... I usually watch the when putting the top down that the window folds instead of twisting into a mess while folded.

Before I got the blessed Muz mat, the majority of my scratching was on the inside of the window where it rubbed the inside of the top well. Plexus and Meguiars have erased those scratches, and by keeping the outside polished and as clean as possible, I have no scratches there, either.
That's a good question Scot. I'm not sure I can give you a good answer. I do know that my back window sucks and it was already showing wear when I picked up the car. I've taken good care of the window and used all the "right" products on it. Maybe once the damage starts it's hard to stop? Maybe some cars got a better grade of plastic than others? I do know that the back window on my 1990 Miata looked better in 1998 than the back window of the S2000 after 3 or 4 months.
