i have taken the top off/on 28 times since february. 99% of the time i have someone to help me, but i did do it once by myself. it is a pain in the ass, and you have to walk all over your interior. but, it can be done....

I believe the weight is 44 pounds not kilos. That would be about 90 pounds. Much lighter than you think. As noted several times, it's not the weight ,it's the akwardness when you attempt to do it alone.

you can stand in the car and lift it up yourself, i put it on and off like that one time. i was very nervous to drop it and either ruin it and/or the car.
just because of the weight/size it is kind of akward

I have scatches all over my truck when I droped it once. And it does major damage. I don't ever take my hardtop off anymore, like stated above I take it off only when I have to lubericate the seals. When I do get a chance to take it off, I ask my neighbour(I also live in apartments) to help. We have to tilt the hardtop just to get it into my apartment so its a two man job.

It only weights 20kg? hah, its practically nothing then. Considering the car is about 6ft wide, I could probably lift it up from drivers side doorway or on top of a seat. Outstanding.

I do have friends though, its just that I will be moving to a completely differant area when I buy my S

Thanks for the help guys!

Please read the topic, I don't have a garage. I don't really need one since I have 'unique' living circumstances.

Thanks for trying to help though
