How to find out production # on your S?

I am a fairly new S owner, so this might be a newb question, but does anyone know how to find out the production # on your S? Thanks

The last 6 digits of the VIN# are the sequential production #'s

last numbers of your VIN is your car's serial #..mine is 002187 so its #2187 in 00

Don't get confused by the 00 2187 being the year '00. VINs are all the same length, so they are zero filled to six digits. The year is actually encoded into the previous portion of the number. This allows for a production run of up to 999,999 cars of a particular model.
