How to fix rattle in ragtop?
So I bought an AP2 just a week ago and it's got this noise that drives me nuts. It's a crazy crackle/click that comes from the driver's side of the ragtop, the joint that's right next to the driver's ear. It happens over bumps and I can reproduce it by pushing up and down on the beam directly above my head.
It's making me go nuts...any ideas on how to stop it? Turning up the radio isn't helping because it's fairly high pitched and because it's like 3 inches from my left ear. I see a couple screws and allan keyholed bolts...should I try tightening those?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if the link below will help with your specific problem, but it DID help getting rid of most of my rattles.
Shin Etsu silicone lubricant (available at Honda dealer) can also help get rid of almost all rubber squeaks associated with ragtop/hardtop.
Clickie --> Rattling Latches (hard-soft tops)
EPT Sealant is a lot like foam weatherstripping available at hardware stores.

My buddy said that when his '05 started rattling, he complained to Honda and they fixed everything right away. He had his car half a year before it started happening, so I would think that within a week they would definitely wanna fix your car as well.
