I still rev-match or heel and toe everywhere, too, that still keeps things very fun.
I thought rev-match was standard for all manual drivers. You'll get wheel lock if you don't rev-match when downshifting more than 2 gears or a big jerking motion. Heel-toe is more of an optional on the streets, but it's fun to do and most drivers can't do it

Are you guys able to do good heel-toe shifting in the s2000? I've been trying to learn it while coming to stop lights, but it's a little hard to blip the throttle while braking for me haha.

Hard on track and in AutoX

Aggressive but leave lots of margins in canyons and empty deserted roads

Drive like a granny on streets ... A granny tht rev matches on the streets

I usually baby the S and drive hard maybe once a month if that... When I got the SC I actually drove it even less hard, opening up maybe once every 6 weeks.

^^ i agree. Surprisingly, i drove my mt accord coupe way harder than the S. I redline the S about once a week but it's such a fun/well balanced car that i don't have to push the motor for the driving experience to be great.

I've tried heel-toeing many times, but I cant seem to get it down. My main problem has been my size. I'm 6'0", 230 lbs., and I dont have the flexibility to hit the gas AND the brake with one foot.

i don't drive it as hard as i would like to.. my friends call me a pu$$y for not wanting to "street race" with them IMO, ide much rather take it to the track or autoX (neither of which i have attended yet, but eagerly wanting to get some experience in). on the street, i am pretty reserved, but i must confess that i ALWAYS heel and toe downshift and do rev-match downshifting, whether it be to a stop sign, a stop light, or just turning regularly on a daily basis. I just got too used to doing it, i can't remember the last time i let the car coast in neutral to a stop or through a corner, sometimes i feel bad though for not letting the car stretch its legs much, especially now with the supercharger.

EDIT: don't mind the signature picture

I drive it like an old fart on the street, with the exception of highway on ramps, where I do two quick runs all the way up in 1st and 2nd, then shift to 6th and leave it there.

On nice back roads, I don't necessarily speed, but I keep it in lower gears for more response. I certainly don't want a ticket. I kart, but I've never taken the S2000 to a track yet. It's on my agenda in the near future.
