Go with the highest octane gas available in your area and I woul even recomend using osctane booster when filling the tank.

What were you thinking of? Aniline (sp?) has been taken out of the market for the same reasons as for leaded gas.

Researched this a bit more.

Comercially available Octane boosters on a flask are pretty useless. They would increase octane ratings only a few points, say from 98RON to 98.4RON or something like that.

To really boost octane levels, I'd need to fill up the tank with 10% Toulene or Xylene, readily available, but not really at the pump.

I also found out that CR is not an absolute measure of octane requirements. The cams will leave the valves open for a part of the compression cycle and the final cylinder pressure varies for the same CR with different cars (cams). I have no idea of how the S2000 cylinder pressure compares with other cars.

Research in progress.
