-- Farmers tan
-- Loss of more hair (top always down going 120)
-- Fear of people pulling out in front of me (Silverstone is invisible on a sunny day at more than 200 feet for some reason)
-- Respect for curb weight and power distribution while down shifting into corners
-- Hate for the price of tires (ahh the good ol days when H rated 60,000 mile roadhandlers were OK)
-- the love of countersteering
more will come to me I am sure if I think longer

I had a boring economy car before this. Now, I feel like I just woke up after being asleep for the last 20 years of my driving career. Instead of thinking only about where I'm going, I now think as much or more about how I'm going to get there. I waste gas tearing around canyons, I get frustrated being stuck behind slow SUVs, and I've become hyper alert to all police cars in sight.
On the down side, it seems there are some places I can't go anymore. I used to occasionally go to Hollywood Blvd to see a movie at the Chinese Theater, but now I won't risk my car parking anywhere near that neighborhood. Too many nutters and headcases screaming at the sky.
I am spending a LOT more on the car and the upkeep, but for some reason I don't care. Even when I have to replace tire more often, I end up thinking... "cool! new tires!" It's not annoying at all.

The car is a blast to drive. It is my stress reliever. My most important change of my life due to my S is it pushes me to go out, see new places and meet new people.
Especially the people. I got myself into my first major car crash two weeks ago. I was driving with my friends from the club. They all stood by me and helped me through that difficult day.
A car is only a car. But owning a S2000, that means you're family!
