Default How high is your door-dent tolerance?

Do you all suck it up everytime theres a new ding/dent? How many does it take until you head for the body shop?

Also, what's the approx cost for a standard, minor door dent?

Discovered my 1st one today... after only 3 days of ownership and 3 days of very careful parking

I've only had one, but it was a doozy. I don't think I could wait even for a small one though just because my eye would go right to it every time I approach the car. That sucks you got one after only 3 days

Zero tolerance, zero dents. I'm fine with walking the length of a parking lot to keep my car dent free.

I hate door pings more than anything. I hate trucks or old caddillacs with old doors park next to me.

ZERO TOLERANCE. If I ever do get one, I'm gonna go ballistic. But for now, parking in BFE, only on corner spots seems to be workin just fine. *knocks on wood*

Just a guess, but about $100/panel/door should cover it.

I say zero 'cause I have not got any yet /knocks on wood. I also park in BFE, it is such a habit that I even do it in my civic w/205k miles

I did have a crab apple fall on my hood last year Very small impression up near the windshield between the water jets. I just dont let my eyes 'wander' up there when I aproach the car, you wont see it unless youre looking, hard.
