There is a commercial product:

I had this dilemma first with my NSX.
I am an EE, and made my own - I made a high-coltage/low current power supply, and attached an electrical grid to three rubber mats - one on hood, one on top, one on trunk, wired in parallel.

I had to play with the voltage/current - I set it too low, and found one of our 7 cats asleep on the mat! I juiced, and the next day, I found only a tuft of hair. They have not been on since.

I have one - heated and air conditioned - do you think that my wife the cat lover would not allow them access? There is a pet door, and four bed comforters scattered about. And I have found cat hair in my engine oil! It is the price I paid when I took to wife a lady with 8 cats! The garage is a haven against predators, scary strangers, and cold/rain/wind.

you know.......I'd probably get a tranq. gun and play "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom".
Shoot the cat, tag the cat(for tracking), and have a friend document "the hunt" with photos. Isn't this an "extreme" sport?

get an empty windex bottle or something and fill it with water. when the cat does something its not supposed to, spray it and it will flip its shit like mad. once it learns to hate the spray bottle, just set it on top of the roof, and it wont ever go near it.
