You can also try one of those vinyl carpet runners that affix to the carpet with little spikes (like the floor mats). Turn the vinyl runner upside down and place on your top. This will be a deterrent to the cats.

Cats are annoying as hell.

I keep seeing the paw marks on my soft top lately. Driving me nuts

I mean, I can't put a car cover everytime i park the car in the gated garage ... it's just a pain. Also I don't like the idea of having a car cover when my car isn't entirely clean

Something I heard but never tried myself: Pepper like in "salt and pepper", a couple of turn of the pepper grinder on the roof will not damage anything and I have been told cats hate the smell... good luck
