Default how loud is too loud of a horn?

im thinking about ordering this http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1..._2520&SKU=77573 its 118db, somone told me 120 is the average human threshold for pain, and 150 is where internal damage occurs...is this true? is 118 way too loud in a bad way or way too loud in a good way ?

what's wrong with the regular air horns... I got those on my car and it's loud enough for people to get out of your way when you need them to! =)

Does anyone remember the picture of the guy that installed TWO triple air horn kits? 6 horns pointing down in front of the radiator!

When the heads of the people you honk at explode from sound pressure you are getting CLOSE to loud enough!

(Lucky for most drivers in this town that my horn doesn't activate the missle launchers! )

Get LOUD if you want loud, as long as someone isn't right BESIDE the horn it's not going to make them deaf.

When it comes to horns loud is better !! The point of a horn is to make your presence known. It had these Hellas in my S2000 but switched to the Hella Dual air horn setup. Both are great !!!

Hella compaired to stock

I peronally like Air horns. I added them in my 4Runner.

I even made a mpeg sound clip comparing the airhorns to the stock horns.
