Default how to make s2k into drag demon?

I took my 02 s2k to the track 3 months after I got it and dropped the clutch at 6000rpm and had my clutch completly slip in first and second gear. I never want to smell that again. It still works though. Need opinions on new clutches and flywheels that can be used on street and track.
Do I need a upgraded clutch for a supercharger and will it make a difference to intercool a comptech supercharger?

step 1 - take your S2000 to your local GM dealership.

step 2 - trade your S2000 in towards a Corvette, or Z28 Camaro (if they still have one)

now you have a drag car.

If no Z28's or Trans Am's, you could try Ford for a SC Cobra.

What some owners do with their Ss is and I every time I see a post like this. When will owners start to appreciate just it instead of this fine roadster. It's not a dragster.

Yikes that is funny! Seriously revhi, attempting to make your S into a dragster would be like trying to modify a Lincoln Navigator to handle well in the twisties. It's just not what the vehicle was designed for.

Well, revhi, to put it simply, there is just not enough aftermarket support for the parts that would need to get replaced for drag racing. You would need to upgrade the clutch (this part is easily found), but more importantly, you would need to upgrade the differential, driveshafts, diff mounts, and maybe even motor mounts.

If drag racing is your thing, you're going to have to wait a little, or maybe get a different car.

I am also curious about this. I am not looking for a drag car but, the one and only time I did a clutch drop from 6000 my clutch did not grab at all. Can anyone explain what happened. I only have 4,500 miles on the car.
