How much of a difference does VSA make?
S2000's do tend to get beat up more than other cars in winter. But...technically, most vehicles are still 2WD. S2000's and Miatas do just fine in snow.
I certainly wouldn't drive *mine* in salty snow. But...OP isn't me.
As far as other comments on VSA....VSA will help in snow. It mitigates yaw as well as wheel slip. You'll need/want to turn it off if you get stuck in deeper stuff. But it certainly won't hurt to have VSA in any other normal driving scenario. I wouldn't lean on VSA as a crutch to drive like a dummy, though.
