Hey guys I am looking at buying a theft recovery car but have a few questions. The car currently has the ecu, 2 doors and trunk locks. But it has no keys and no ignition box. So I have two options

Transfer keys, ecu, and locks from a parts car...will i run into any problems?

Or buy a new set of keys and ignition cylinder direclty from honda. Does anyone know how much this will cost approx?

 

ok a new cylinder and keys are 682 cnd....plus programming and instal. However, for this price the keys wont match the door locks, and the locks are additional

just have them rekey the ignition

 

is the immbolizer unit broken?

 

im not sure where the immobolizer unit is located but the entire steering coloumn is missing so i think its gone aswell?

 

yes it is a little black plastic ring that goes around where the key goes into the ignition
