I did read the comment, it seemed like u were answering it, but I wanted to be 100% sure. Plus the screen name was different, so that didn't help. Lot of people copy and paste shit. But whateva. We are just wondering why Honda would say the weight is 2809, when people have gotten lower weight stock like yourself.

Better to be conservative.

My stock 2002 weighed 2755 lbs on the scales at the Roebling Road track in Savanah, GA. It had a little more than 1/2 tank of gas, each corner was within 6 lbs of each other.

Wait a minute... how come the front and the rear weigh differently? Shouldn't it be even?
I believe it's more of a 51/49, but if you include the driver, should be closer to 50/50.
Should be more like 50/50 empty, no driver, 48/52 with driver and fuel. Mine was 49/51 with me in it, 1/8 tank (weighed 2765 without me, 1/8-tank).

No S2000 should be showing more weight on the fronts, backed onto scales maybe?

My s2000 would show more front, over rear, Js 70RR titanium took away so much weight in the rear.

The s has always been said that it has a near perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Key word near. Most publications have always listed it as 51/49 so him having it at 51.2/48.7 isn't that off. The added % could be from dirt accumulation in the engine bay and/or non oem battery, or even a full windshield washer reservoir ( if it wasn't filled in other tests). It's not that serious people. Thanks op for the results.
And I have read sources saying the oem hardtop weighs around 45lbs (around 2lbs for added brackets and hardware that are mounted to vehicle)

I have too, but I want to see it on a scale. When I was at WTD I helped one of the CR owners every day take his off, and put it back on. I guess it did feel heavy.
