[QUOTE=s2000maniac,Jan 19 2011, 09:26 PM] well mine is progressive and i'm 21 yrs old. there are 2 cars under my name 2002 BMW 745i and 2003 s2k. i'm paying $133 a month, and thats only liability. meaning the insurance will only cover the other party and not me. i have gotten alot of tickets, a few reckless driving, a few speeding, and a few minor fender bender accidents. i think i have around 8-10 points on my license.

Location is a big factor in the difference between people's rates.

I'm 23 with no tickets. 100k/300k coverage. 1000$ Collision deduct and 0$ Comprehensive deduct (if someone smashes my window, steals my seats, or my windshield cracks I don't pay anything out of pocket)

I pay ~90 a month

Allstate

p.s. Last year at the suggestion of my agent I picked up a 75 dollar a year renters insurance plan which because of multi policy discounts saved me over 200$ a year on my car insurance.

31 (wife and I both)
State Farm
Huntsville, AL
2005 Honda S2000
2010 Honda Insight
2010 Toyota Prius
All have $100 Comprehensive/$250 Collision Deductibles
All have (trying to remember) at least $100k/$300k coverage

I pay $160 a month for all of it, including no tickets in over 7 years, no accidents (none for me, none for my wife since the 90's) and multiple discounts (multiple line - house, safe driver, and multiple vehicles).

Comes out to about $1920 a year for the 3 cars.
