well in better terms i installed the gaskets this time. didnt have a chance to do it previously (cough twisted s2k cough ). No gaskets = 2 exhaust leaks both kind of minor. One was at the left muffler area attaching to the main pipe and the other was the top portion whihc connected to the test pipe. Both were not major but if i put my hand over the affected area you could def feel a jet of air rushing out. didnt feel a loss of power...but after the gasket install noi more leaking air Twisteds2k remember to bring gaskets next time!!!! whew glad im finally done! so did i lose HP and how bad with 2 minor-medium leaks?

 

did you feel the loss of power? The way you drive, losing 20 hp wouldn't make any difference

 

I wouldn't say to the point where you can feel the difference that much but surely losing backpressure.
When there are gaskets comming off any parts of the car, it is best to replace them with new gasket because it doesn't seal as well as a new one would.

 

Lost 10 h.p.per leak=total 20 h.p.loss.!!!

 

lol yeh i hit VTEC today and dman i could def feel a greater rush of power!! def could feel it plus comptech and fuji exahust combined giv eout decent gains I'm guessing.

 

Your car must be getting nice,with all the mods,you added in the last 2 weeks.

 

yeh i jsut put the rear window tint back on going to be painting calipers with an s2k member tommorowe and then my HUD display is supposed to ne here this week but they sold out so it will be on next week! thanks
