how much for new 2000 s2k ?
being in the northeast, I already see some dealers asking $500 UNDER MSRP for new 2001 model . I have my eyes on a new 2000 white on red still sitting in a local showroom for over 8 weeks.based on the above, how much more discount you all think should I ask for this car?

It doesn't get any cheaper than that!

FP is right, go for it!! You won't find one for less (if MSRP)!! The first one I drove was white/red and it looked great IMO but not my first color choice. The price was too high at this particular dealer, so I waited and got my silver/black which was my first choice at another dealer for a much lower price.
I would get the car ASAP.
You might be surprized though that despite it's being there for 8 weeks, the dealer may be in no hurry.
Some are happy to keep the car for long periods for 2 reasons. One, apparently Honda is not charging interest on these cars. They are interested in them being seen... (so says a dealer friend) And two, the dealer themselves might think of the thing as a traffic magnet. Unless they have another one coming in, you may not find them willing to move on price.
Just FYI.
