Just curious as to how much oil you guys burn at how many mile intervals. Thanks in advance.

 

none so far. 2006 with 2000 miles.

 

Depends how you drive;1 quart/1-1.5 k.to nothing at all.

 

05 with 7500 miles, no burn at all despite vtecs constantly.

 

2004 with 11k miles, haven't burned any so far since switching to synthetic. Castrol Syntec 10w40.

Before that I was using the recommended Motorcraft 10w40 oil and didn't burn any either.

I autox and am vtec'ing occasionally as well.

AP2s don't seem to burn oil as much as AP1s I don't think ... I don't remember exactly why (different prep on the heads?) but there was a reason the newer engines don't burn oil. A new F20C engine (either in a Euro S2000 or a replacement part) shouldn't burn oil either because of the update in one of the parts that both engines share.

None. 35,000 miles on the car, vtec all the time, never burned any oil.

 

None after 23,000 miles.
