MY00 with 123800 kms.
About half a liter every 1000 km.
Sometimes a bit less, sometimes a bit more.
Oil usuage stopped after an oil change, now it is back where it was.

Considering the "units" mentioned by kane.sk2
With synthetic oil prices in mind (overhere) they may pay for themselfs.
But I need a little more "persuasion"

 

MY04 with 26K miles. Burns none running Mobil 1 10W-30 at 5000 change intervals.

 

MY 04 7000mi.

None. M1 10w-30 @ 3000mi.

 

Same but 2k miles. Been checking often. Clean as a whistle

For the first 8k miles, I used to add maybe 1/8 of a quart at every fillup. Not much

I haven't burned anything in the last 2k miles.

 

1 qt about every 1500mi

 

my 04, 24500 miles and never any used that i can see...it sure gets black between changes which i run 3500-4000 miles and do myself. the car has never been to the dealer for anything and not had a warranty repair of any type..so far so good as warranty runs out in nov this year.

 

about a quart every 3k miles. but if i push it(9K), i can definitley burn up to almost a quart every 2k miles. just hit 44k miles.
