Default How much stress and compress can the bumper take?

Attention S2000 owners. I need some comfort from you all. My car has not seen a dent or scratch until today at a parking lot. Some motherf-cker backed into my car and swiped my bumper and took off a great chunk of plastic off off my car. The car was also moved back a foot from its initial place. Lucky, the exhaust (Amuse) cleared the curb or else it would case some damage extending all the way to the header.
My quesiton is, how much stress and compression can the bumper take to make an s2000 move 1 foot backward with the car in gear and e-brake up? What is the bumper attach to?

Is it really necessary to post this multiples times in different forums? Pick one or the other and delete one of them.
