lowering would cause any issues ... unless your car's so low that the diff's humping the ground all the time (which I'm sure you could hear that happening)

do you launch your car a lot?

I've never been in an S2000 when the differential failed but I'm struggling to think of why the CEL would flash when the differential went south?

Your lowered with an AP1 did you have Half Shaft spacers?

that would cause it but it would happen even through rough driving. If your always launching your car or always shifting incorrectly then it starts to wear on the diff and sooner or later you'll have to replace it.

shifting fast to save time isnt bad though right? But my shifting does feel kinda hard when I do this.
