I believe that dropping the clutch in between gears to attempt to chirp would do it.

Shifting too fast can be bad for your transmission because you do not allow your synchros enough time to accelerate andplace you into the next gear properly.

So yes, you can shift too fast.

yes but it would not be as harmful as lets say shifting down a gear and just poping of the clutch. You'll lock the diff up for a second and it may cause something to break.

I am not saying what is bad and what is worse. I am saying that popping the clutch while upshifting can damage driveline components of the vehicle.
