Sorry to hear that man, you know there is a large amount of posts I see on here entitled "crashed my S2K"...

Look on the bright side, maybe one day the S2K will be like Ferrari's, one crashes the remaining shoot up in value by like $100 grand, I doubt it....

Ya IDK about frame damage without looking at it, I'm gonna say axle is shot, tie rod, maybe your rear diff.. Good luck!

My AP1 had a similar situation - my son decided to "borrow" it ... and spun it into a curb. The axle and diff were okay but all the driver's side suspension and subframe had to be replaced, along with some body work around the wheel well. The total was over $10k. So ... I think the guesstimates posted here are a little optimistic IMHO.

Not true at all. I'm not going to post my usual response to frame damage as no one listens anyway

Cliff notes, frame damage is repairable and COULD be better then before the accident.
I'm living proof of it. My car took some frame damage, but after starting a long thread on these forums and getting proper advice, my car has been fully restored. The frame is probably strong than factory with all the extra spot weldings now.

you definately have some frame damage. I've seen similiar damage and the sub frame in the rear was bent. Granted the vehicle was drivable and still is however that particular rear wheel sticks out further then the other side causing rubbing with the fender over extreme dips in high speeds.
how does he "definately have frame damage" from that view?

no frame damage...on mine... lots of bent and broken suspension stuff though...?

Sorry to hear about your accident. Your insurance should take car of it unless you have the $$ to shell out and pay on your own.

As far as what Ckit was saying about the flaming.....it is regarding why would you put it in gear and see if the wheels would spin?! It is pretty obvious that would cause a bit of more problems just by looking at the picture.

That doens't look bad.
I would say around $1000~1500 maybe less.
I had much worse damage on my car - passenger side front and back suspension & everything related / wheels / front fender / front bumper - and it cost me only $3800 with new set of wheels (cheap).

being a dumbass mostly.... i had 2nd place all wrapped up but thought I would try to brake just a little deeper in hopes of catching #1... .. so after I ran down the side of a BMW to slow me down, we slid off the track at all angles...

It pretty much sucked!!!!

I agree, I doubt there is frame damage; just a whole bunch of broken suspension parts.
