Default how much will this cost to fix

so it seems the rear end on these cars slips real easily. here is what happened to mine.
basically how much do you think this will cost??? i looks pretty bad and when i put it in gear neither of the wheels make an attempt to spin. but most importantly im perfectly fine and the insurance will take care of it. btw i had just installed my blizzard ws60 and they work great in the snow i guess not that great in the rain.

Belongs in s2k talk not Off topic.

People are being nice and not flaming you.

Why would you put it in gear and try to drive it?

You've obviously broken the axle / control arm and possibly the diff.

If you're going through insurance, they'll probably charge between $3000 and $5000 depending on what's broken.

Say hello to higher insurance costs.

Remember tires need to break in ~500 miles before attaining full grip.

And they don't overcome poor driving technique.

and i wont comment the "poor driving technique" response.

you don't have any visable body damage, but im gonna say your frame might have absorbed some impact. if you have frame damage, have fun. fix it and sell it.

People can have "accidents" due to ignorance, obliviousness, carelessness, or bravado.

The only thing that defines an accident is lack of intention.

Doesn't make it less flammable.

And this isn't why we have insurance. This is why we have expensive insurance.

I'd love to hear your comments on the "poor driving technique."

I'll bet you just came over from a FWD car a few months ago, right?

Poor S2000.

The good news is you'll likely get a second chance at driving RWD.

I doubt there's frame damage. Looks like you oversteered into a curb while turning left in the rain. Probably just the suspension and axle +/- diff. You'd probably have to make $7000+ in order to total it out.

Looks like it can be fixed, how much depends on what all need to be replace. Just the rim alone is quite a bit.
