How much would you pay for a used S2000?
How much do you think a S2000 is worth in 3 to 5 years? Question's kinda lame but I would like to see what you guys think.
Currently it looks like the depreciation runs about 2000 to 2500 a year (given a normal to good condition one, low to average mileage). Do you see the S havin a "floor value" of about 13000 to 15000? (ie 2000 or 2001 model would kinda depreciate a lot slower once it gets to that range ...
This is just taking some of the other Hondas out there. Like a Prelude SH was 26K for a new one in 98 and now it's around 8000 to 10K for some of the ones that are kept in good condition. And ITRs run for about 26K new and now for a little over SHs. Given that S2000 is slightly less common and most of the owners kept them in good condition with lower mileage (I've seen a lot of MY02s with less than 15000 miles ... ), is that a resonable estimate?
