how often do you guys kick into vtec?

 

ummm... any chance i get! usually don't go more than two minutes of driving without it.

i had a good laugh.

I would VTEC my car all the time, if I had it.

 

I've just been into town, about 25Km each way, on a good country road.

Probably passed about a dozen cars all up. Cruised past a couple in top, The rest were doing around 90Km/H, 53 MPH, & I took them in 3rd, to get past in a short distance, so about once every 3 or 4 miles.

Never go there in town, it attracts too much attention. I prefer to go quietly in town, so the peasants think I'm just another hair dresser in my Mazda.

 

As much as possible.

 

lately not enough room on the roads to vtec.....vtecing at every light is not really my idea of fun

 

When I have a nice stretch of road, like a highway on ramp, with no cars around. Usually once every other day to once a day - way too much traffic to get a chance to use it.

 

Maybe once every 50 miles on average, much more when I'm in the mountains!

 

rarely, maybe once a day during the week. but when i get on the interstate on the weekends..its on!

 

When I first got the car and it was all stock still I use to go wot as often as possible but once the mods began it made it harder to enjoy the car around town but I still manage on a daily basis to run through some gears. I swear the longer I go without getting into it the more sluggish the car seems. I think mine lives to be driven at 5k+
