how often do you guys kick into vtec?

i try to keep it around the 6k rpm range at all times and WOT occasionally.

Never really hit VTEC in my car. 5k RPM is all I need to get around the city.

I've been doing a lot of hard launches into vtec cause I'm trying to finish off my tires to get new ones in the spring. 3-4x per 10 miles?

Oh, and I'll vtec when drive under bridges too... sounds like a F1 race is going to start any moment.

Usually when I leave base, there's a highway on ramp so I roll all the way through 2nd gear, a bit into 3rd. Not much else driving around the city.

I would say 20+ times a day.. 9k all day from my civic to my s2k ) well 10k for my civic actually
