how often do you guys kick into vtec?

I vtec every gear and even 6th gear sometimes

Why? The car is still piss slow with VTEC so I don't bother. I bought it so I could cruise around with the top down. A miata just isn't my cup of tea.

The reason you call it a miata is cause you aren't even hitting vtec brah!

LOL. I don't know. I've hit VTEC maybe twice ever since I owned the car, but it's more of a noise-maker to me than actual speed. Maybe it's because the AP2 VTEC crossover isn't as noticeable as the AP1?

On ramps and whenever i want to hear my exhaust But having my exhaust helps me from doing it frequently because it makes me stand out like crazy lol

Damn, finally someone agrees with me!

I have an AP1 and I notice no difference with VTEC either. My buddy dyno'd his AP2 and it only gained like 5hp in VTEC on the graph
