stock RE050, just passed 22k, rears have 1 or 2mm left, fronts still have ~6mm? they have a lot. i don't track, autocross, peel out, nor drive like a moron around DC. i take some on and off ramps quickly, but other than that, there aren't that many twisties around.

I bought my car used and the RE050s are on the front. Not sure how many miles are on them, but the wear is on the inside of the tires (from negative camber). I'm wonder if they are the original tires because the car has 44k miles on it (now, after me putting on 3.5k in a 7 weeks, had 41k when I bought it). The tires are cracked between the tread and where the sidewall meets the tread, are looking like they are drying out too. Don't worry - new tires are an xmas present from the parents.
That sounds about right for OEM Fronts...they should be cracking right about now due to the age of them..we have the same MY and mine are beginning to crack as welll. I have a set of ZRis I need to mount...just haven't gotten around to it.

my rears usually get 10-12k miles, and the fronts are around 25k.

Replaced my rear Re050's last month w/ 13k miles on 'em(they were bald). Purchased the Re050A Pole Positions(they're supposed to be a little better than the regular Re050's, especially in the wet). Fronts are still the stock re050's. Also went with a wider 255/40/17 tread pattern on the pole positions but gonna keep fronts the stock size(215/45/17).

Hankook Z212 R-S2
205/55-16 and 245/45-16
Rears last 12 to 15k miles
Fronts last 24 to 30k miles

I use track tires on the track so the R-S2 are only used on the streets, and I just love them, very good performance, unbelievable price.
