FYI, don't put 303 Aerospace Protectant on your top. It's a great product but more of a vinyl/leather protectant.

The product you want is called 303 Fabric Guard, it's designed for convertable tops and fabrics. Very much like the Porsche Top protectant but comes in a larger can and is easier to use.

The regular 303 stuff may work, but the 303 protectant recommended by the manufacturer is 303 Fabric Protectant, not the Aerospace Protectant.

Check out the FAQ here under protecting the top: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/autopia/cab...riotopcare.html

[I]...it is necessary to treat it with a Scotchgard

I have tried the BMW stuff, and wasn't impressed. So then I tried the Porsche stuff and it was much better!

I used the 303 Fabric Guard and it worked really well. Top is very black and repels the water. I used the 303 Prot. on the interior and exterior vinyl pieces.
