Complete Nissan/Infinit sales history through 1958:
http://www.nissannews.com/corporate/news/2...019104851.shtml

Doesn't break things down by model, unfortunately.

The monthly sales report does, however.

October 2003:
http://www.nissannews.com/corporate/news/2...113101821.shtml
November 2002:
http://www.nissannews.com/corporate/news/2...122110109.shtml

So Nissan sold 34,604 350Zs through end of November in 2003, and 13,253 in 2002. For a total of 47,857.

Weird, usually they lie in the other direction - as in, saying that there's only going to be a very small number of them sold, in order to frighten somebody into buying hastily.

so there you have it - officially Honda has sold as many S2Ks in 4 years as Nissan sold 350Zs in one year...seems pretty close to real life - I am starting to see more 350Zs than S2K fairly regularly. In one year you'll see double the # of Zs as S2000s (if the previous numbers continue for both)

Hey Tachman, you probably already know this, but the reason you see so many drophead 'stangs on A1A is because they are the tourist's rental of choice. You can rent exotics from Budget at MIA, but don't know if they have s2000s.

It's rare enough that I only see about 2-3 per week on the road. And that's down here in FL, which lends itself to convertible car buyers.
