Default How to separate the third brake light from trunk?

It's not just 5 bolts that easy...they seem stuck each other..
how to separate them? I'll move the brake light to the CF lid

You tried wiggling it? Sometimes I find that the holes drilled for the 3rd brake light are a bit off but they still jammed it in so the bolts get caught up against the trunk hole. If you'd already taken off the connectors and nuts for the 3rd brake light then it should pop out with a little wiggle. Hope that helps...

Correct,
The third brake light is held on by the 5 10mm nuts and can be removed with a small rachet and a 6 inch extention. If you remove the lock mechanism, you can reach it with your hand.

There is adhesive that depending on how long it's been on there may have settled in. Just move it around and it will come loose.

Just make absolutely sure you have removed all the nuts an that the wires have been disconnected.
