Hi,

i am new at this forum, i didn't know where to put this topic so i hope it's ok here. Anyway, my s2k has been parked now for about 5 months in garage. The problem is that battery is now so low that even central locking does not work. I tried with a remote and directly with keys and it does not work so i can't unlock my car.

Did anybody have problems like this? How to unlock the car??

If it's an AP1 there is a way to get into it by undoing the top and moving it back a bit, I'm not quite sure on the proper technique though.

 

the keys don't unlock the door?! do you have the right key? WTF?

 

3 Choices:

1) Smash glass, unlock door.

2) Slash top, unlock door.

3) Use key, insert in doorlock, unlock door.


Choose which one works best for you.

 

the second one is a fail, due to slashing your top lol.

He said he tried directly with the keys and it didn't work. How is that possible?????

 

maybe his key hole is jammed. this happened to my is300. i can unlock drivers door but not trunk.

 

thats because its the valet key

 

was the car ever repainted over door. one of my rx7's in the past wouldn't work with the key because it had been sprayed over the keyhole. i had to take out locking mechanism from door and sandpaper it down
