I don't remember if this was mentioned, but if you look through the window, can you see if the lock has moved after you turn the key? If the key is not moving it, maybe you can try using a coat hanger to unlock it from the inside of the car.

I think the best place to insert the coat hanger would be at the top front corner of the window. You should be able to wedge it in between the glass and the rubber trim. It would probably take very careful bending of the coat hanger and maybe something attached to the end to protect your interior from getting scraped.

Also if you have a second person available, he could watch from the other side of the car to help advise you on the coat hanger's position. It would probably take a lot of patience and some luck but maybe it could work.

Hi, nice advice but it doesnt work. I managed to grab the hook from inside with coat hanger, i pulled the hook but it doesnt open the doors.
Does anybody know how system of locks works at s2k? If the car is locked and you pull handle from inside does it open the doors or not?

I have a CR-V and if i pull the handle from inside it unlocks and open the doors but i don't know how it works at s2k...if anybody has some info it will be very helpful, thx

from what I remember it doesn't. when I let passengers in from the inside I have to unlock the door, not just pull the handle, to let hem in.

Oh wait, so you were able to pull the door opener so far but not the actual lock? On my car (USDM MY03), you definitely have to unlock the lock switch first before the opener handle will work. If you haven't tried that one yet, it might be worth giving it another shot to see if you can hook the actual lock switch and get that unlocked.

Good luck man! Hope you can find something that works without having to break something to get in :/

Correct, hook the lock first and then the door handle. Good luck OP

I'm sure this has been tried - but keeping the key turned and pull on the handle at the same time?

OP is there any resistance when you turn the key?

No way! Nice work man, that's amazing!!

Let us know if the new battery ends up making the locks work again. It blows my mind that the locks need juice in the battery in order for the key to open the lock. What was Honda thinking?

Glad to hear you got in though!
