We're not psychic. We only know exactly what you tell us and we have no clue from your OP if you actually tried the door locks or not (and people have made such mistakes in the past otherwise we wouldn't ask). Details like the temp in your OP would really help. Help others to help you.

When my batt. died I could still unlock the doors in my '07 AP2. Are you sure you're using the master key?

3 Choices:

1) Smash glass, unlock door.

2) Slash top, unlock door.

3) Use key, insert in doorlock, unlock door.

Choose which one works best for you.

Then dead battery or not you aint getting in. Have it towed to a dealer.

The temp could be a factor here, 2 weeks ago my car was so frozen that I could not unlock either door, with the fob or with the key, my battery was not dead. I finally got in the passenger door but even from the inside I could still not get the driver side door open. After driving for about 45mins with the heat on full blast, the driver side door finally opened.

Looks likes you need to heat the lock up. Try a space heater or a heat gun.

Also, clean the lock and apply lithium grease.

My '99 miata had issues with the locks sticking in the same fashion when it got "cold" in Texas (~32° F). Periodic cleaning and re-greasing worked.

There's no reason that you shouldn't be able to open your car with your key, as long as the locks are operating properly and you're using the correct key.

If you can get into your trunk, you could hook your trunk light wiring up to a trickle charger to put enough voltage in the circuit to allow the key fob to work. It might take a few hours of charging, though. Don't hook up a regular battery charger - you'll likely blow the fuse.
