Before you go with Modifry go to Amazon & search for Nite Ize Steelie Car mount . Really cool SMALL and simple device with 1 drawback I'll get to later. It's a stainless steel ball that mounts to the dash anywhere. The other piece is the magnet cup that mounts to your phone. The cup mates to the ball & that's it! very small footprint. The magnet is very strong but the ball rotates in the cup so you have 360 degree movement. The downside is the magnet strength if you're used to carrying you cell in the same pocket as your wallet you might fine one of your credit cards demagnetized but i've adapted . This is clean industrial strength design & beats having the octopus claws of the other kinds of mounts.

I've got the Panavise mount, think I bought from Modifry, hooked to a proclip iPhone 6 mount. I like it because it's much lower than the ones shown above, a little more clean and discreet.

Here's the same mount with an old iPhone 4, since updated to the 6 mount and lightning cable:

I have something similar, except the part that attaches to phone is just a thin metal disk, no magnet (so no worries about cc magnetization). I also got it from Amazon, it was around $10.

I mounted mine to the top of the dash pod, above the heater controls.

Akron mount (Amazon $30) with quick release holder for any kind of device. Mounted it on McGuard seatlock bolt. Easy. Does not clutter up dash. Easy to install and easy to remove. Does not bother or get in the way of pax. Can bend it anyway you want.

I always laid my phone horizontal at the speedometer. Perfect for GPS as it is in the line of sight.

Like Garhead, I also have discovered the Steelie Car Mount and have mounted the base on the face of the dash above the consol/radio stack where it is in direct eyesight. A very "elegant" (in accordance with the KISS principal of Industrial Engineering Design) piece of engineering, though I shall have to be more careful about how I carry my phone around to avoid demagnetizing my CC's! (never thought about that). Attached are some photos of the install including my wireless Solo 3 radar. The clutter is minimized.[attachment=95625:IMG_8557.JPG][attachment=95626:IMG_8560.JPG][attachment=95627:IMG_8563.JPG][attachment=95628:IMG_8564.JPG]

I am looking at Modifry's dash bracket, but I am interested in seeing what everyone else is doing...

I want to mount my Cell Phone (S7) near my dash for GPS and other cell phone functions.

Thanks!!!

While not as fancy as some...it's temporary and easily removable...https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014I...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Congrats, here's your cookie. It's my music source and GPS.
