Default How will an aftermarket clutch feel?

My stock clutch is slipping. So I plan to get an ACT clutch kit and flywheel. How will this setup feel compared to my stock clutch? Easier or harder to shift? Stiffer clutch pedal? Better or worse? Last longer than stock? Will it be more difficult for an ACT clutch to slip compared to a stock clutch? Better launches?

It grabs hard... the pedal is a little stiffer.

You will probalby tend to almost stall it the first few starts from first if you go with the lightened fly as well. You'll get used to it in a week (depending how much you drive). Until you drive another S with a stock clutch you won't realize how much better it is.

I see that you're in orange county. I had an integra gsr with a stage 2 clutch and it was much stiffer than stock. It was nice when you're on an open road, but with the traffic that so cal has, it got annoying. My foot was always sore after sitting in an hour of bumper to bumper traffic. Im not saying I wont put one in my S after my stock one wears out, just wanted you to know what you'll have to put up with.

...like your best friends girlfriend. A little foreign, a little tighter, and almost as good as the original.

I cant wait till my competition clutch stage 2 wears out so i can get something else. Im unhappy with my clutch, it grabs much too hard/ rough on ANY conditions and i was unimpressed with the quality of the product on visual inspection before install as well. If you are in orange county your free to check it out if you like.
